It’s the time when we look back at the old year and forward to the new year. I hope that 2024 has been good to you and that 2025 will be a very happy and healthy year for you. May your New Year celebrations be fun and full of joy and the start of a year that fulfils your hopes and plans. Happy New Year!
Your photo looks like some sort of icy, frozen but edible Christmas treat: probably peppermint. What a nice thing to contemplate in this still-holidayish season. Here’s to a good new year, filled with treats of every sort: especially in the garden.

Thanks Linda! I hope that your year is a good one, full of all the best treats for you! (Those flowers have a light but sweet scent, not always noticeable but lovely when you do.)

Is that a marshmallow flower there, Ann? 😉
Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year slightly in advance as I’m always behind with emails.

Hehe, it looks the right colour for a marshmallow – but it’s a viburnum really. 🙂 Happy new Year to you and yours, Jill! 🤗
